The staff at GraphicsOptimization has years of experience working in the graphic design and web design industries, as well as a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience in optimizing graphics. However, we will be the first persons to tell you that the more we learn about the topic of optimizing graphics for faster/better display on the internet, the more we realize we have yet to learn.
If you are reviewing this web site and its content, and have suggestions for how we all can do an even better job of optimizing graphics, we would love to hear from you! Information on new tools, new software, new techniques, etc. for stripping graphics down to their smallest possible file size without adversely impacting image quality would be welcome. We also would welcome the receipt of any information on great articles or tutorials that you might have come across on the topic of graphics optimization, as well as information on any great associations, listservs or online discussion forums that you feel would further our efforts to achieve our goals.
Some very-specific additional items that we would LOVE to locate would include:
- Information on reducing the size of files saved in Tagged Image File Format (.tif) without LZW compression.
- Information on reducing the size of files saved in Bitmap file format (.bmp).
