How You Can Help: Contributions
As with any new start-up venture, our staff is spending a great deal of time (and money) in effort to get this service up and running before any type of revenue is coming back to help us recoup those costs. We are hoping that this web site and the services we provide will eventually generate worthwhile revenues for our firm! However, for the time being, any and all contributions people are willing to share would be greatly appreciated, and will be put to good use in our mission to make the internet a faster, better place.
Contributions may come in a number of forms:
- Optimization Software. Any software developers that were willing to share copies of their products with us would receive a listing in the appropriate "Do It Yourself" pages, as well as a review of the tool(s) by our staff that visitors to our site could review. One disclaimer related to the review: if we are not impressed with the quality or performance of said tools, we will essentially share that type of constructive criticism in our reviews.
We would like to thank the following software developers for contributing to our firm in this effort:
- balesio - developers of PPTMinimizer.
- Promotional opportunities. As we look to help spread the word about graphics optimization and bandwidth conservation, any form of help we can get in promoting ourselves on the web, newspapers, magazines, television, etc. will go a long way. Informational interviews, print and/or electronic ads, articles, even the production of custom t-shirt designs (or other promotional products) would help a great deal as we try and get people thinking about G.O.
We would like to thank the following organizations for contributing to our firm in this effort:
- Website Magazine
- Cash contributions. We do NOT want to beg for hand-outs, since we currently operate as an affiliate/spin-off of mapformation, LLC! However, if anyone out there is a firm believer in what we are trying to accomplish (and the "why" behind that goal), we would wholeheartedly accept cash contributions to help offset the expenses associated with operating this web site and any other related promotional expenses.
